Yalda Salameh 


Yalda is registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and has a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Yalda has a broad range of experience and has worked with many individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, complex PTSD, psychosis and OCD. She has experience in working in national youth mental health organisations, with refugees and asylum seekers as well with individuals in rural and remote communities through a virtual clinic.

Yalda has a warm and empathic approach and works collaboratively with each individual to understand their difficulties ensuring that she tailors her therapy to improve her client’s overall wellbeing. She draws on various evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Brief Solution Focused therapy and is trained in various parenting programs such as 1-2-3 Emotion Coaching, Engaging Adolescents and Bringing up Great Kids.
